Jasna Vučak was born in Ratkovica , she finished high school in Slav. Požega in 1978. And gradueted the Medical Faculty in the University of Zagreb in 1984. Her first permanent job was on the island Molat, then in different rural places in Zadar county and since 1993. in Sukošan. In 1989. She completed postgraduated degree in Otorhinolaryngology and Maxillofacial Surgery, in 2003. She enrolled in postdoctoral stud< of Biomedicine and Health and in and in 2013 defended her doctoral dissertation on "The effect of programmed family medicine intervention on patients' attitudes towards preventive activities and risk factors for cerebrovascular disease." She passed the specialist exam in family medicine in 2005. She is a member of a number of domestic and foreign professional societies. She held the position of secretary in the European Association of General / Family Medicine Specialists 2007-2010. (www.vdgm.eu) and in the period 2010-2015. she was the national coordinator of the exchange of trainees at the same association. Se is a member of the main board of the European Association for the Prevention and Promotion of Health (EUROPREV, www.europrev.org) at the World Association of General Practitioners / Family Physicians (WONCA, www.globalfamilydoctor.com). Apart from all aspects of her work in family medicine, her professional interests are focused on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. She was on short professional residences in the USA, the Netherlands, Ireland and Great Britain. She actively participated in a number of international professional meetings and congresses. She has published numerous articles in cited publications and in unquoted publications. He is the co-author of the university manual "The most common lung diseases in family medicine" and the book "Guidelines for general practitioners" as well as co-author of two professional manuals "Prevention of cardiovascular diseases in family medicine" and "People with diabetes in the family doctor's office". She has lecture at the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She was elected assistant professor at the Health Studies of the University of Zadar in 2015. And from the school year 2020/21. leads the course "Nursing in primary health care - The role of the nurse in the prevention and monitoring of patients with the most common chronic non-communicable diseases."
She has participated in four scientific projects, three of which are international.
